While staying in Bonners Ferry we took a drive and stumbled upon Yaak Falls campground. We drove through to see if they had a space that would accommodate us. They didn’t, but we decided it would be a great place to get the dogs out for a walk. It was so beautiful with lots of different foliage and flowers blooming everywhere.

We wandered all around and then found a stairway that led down to the river and falls. There were amazing giant river rocks and chunks of slate all over. SIMPLY STUNNING!

But the river, oh … the river was magnificent and mesmerizing! It brought us both to tears.

We hung around for quite a while and all I could do was thank God for this beautiful masterpiece and that we could experience it!
