I realized yesterday that I didn’t post about one of our stays. This was after Hyrum, Utah. We came across a free place called Palisades Reservoir which is a beautiful reservoir that straddles the Idaho-Wyoming border. Apparently they keep it stocked with various kinds of trout. We’re not fishers but I sure wouldn’t mind a nice trout dinner somewhere along the line! Maybe we’ll have to try our hand at fishing.

Anyway, we stayed one night and had a nice fire.

The boys hung out wishing they could have some of our dinner which consisted of wine, cheese and crackers. They did, of course, get a bite of cheese.

The next morning I took Rex for a walk and kept hearing this beautiful and interesting song from a Magpie (I looked it up). It was gracious enough to pose for a photo ;-D. There were a lot of them hanging around. Very pretty in flight with the white design on the wings.

After another walk with both boys, we packed up and got back on the road.
To be continued . . .
