It has been a long time hasn’t it? So much has occurred between my last post and now. Thanks for checking back in!

In my last post, almost two years ago, I showed the “art studio” Larry made for me on our lot at the Ranch, which was awesome! However, the difficult thing about an RV lot is that you’re ruled by the weather. The last summer we were there it got up to 112 in my studio! In that kind of heat we were pretty much confined to the RV, often for days on end. This was also the case for much of the winter with very cold temps, and during wind events as well (desert living at its finest). We started thinking that we needed a home that we could live in year round … a home that was at an elevation that would be cooler in the summer but not too harsh in the winter, and we decided on Payson, at 5,000 feet. It was an incredibly difficult decision to leave our friends at the Ranch and the San Diego area but, as gorgeous as it is at the Ranch, and as fun as the “golf cart” lifestyle is, it was hard to enjoy it much of the year because of the weather and temperatures.

So, we sold one of our rental lots at the Ranch and bought a house in Payson. That’s the “readers digest” version. I don’t want to bore you with all the gory details of the move itself. Most of you know all about that already.

Anyway, we officially moved in January 2025 and became “Zonies”.
