Well, it has been a while again. Hopefully you all had a really nice holiday season and have already had good things come your way so far in 2023. Nothing really earth shattering to report over the last few months but a few things to share. 

Larry says he’s never met an HOA he likes, and it’s no different here. This place is a little slice of paradise . . .

but politics always find its way in anytime there is a governing body. Not long after moving here we learned that the President of the HOA Board was, to put it gently, a “dictator”. Oh great :-\ . However, a few weeks ago we had elections and the “dictator” was voted out. Hallelujah!!!!! The mood around here that afternoon, after the results were read, went from somber to jubilant! Kind of like “Ding dong the witch is dead!!” People were out in the street smiling, laughing, high-fiving and doing little dances LOL. Quite a wonderful sight to see ;-D.

So, we’ve been in a dispute with the HOA for a year now, relating to a violation on one of our rental lots (we’re troublemakers wherever we go, right?). I won’t bore you with all the gory details but we finally have a IDR (independent dispute resolution) meeting coming up later this week, without the dictator witch involved. We’re sure hoping to get it all resolved and put it behind us. I’ll update on the outcome in a future post.

In the meantime, Spring has sprung and there’s more to come . . .
