It’s ironic that our RV trip last year was primarily a journey to find a cool place to go for the Summer months and, yet, here we find ourselves in the desert . . . for the Summer! Funny how things work out. I can’t say we’re enthralled with the idea of enduring 100+ temps but we do need to see how we handle Summer here in paradise. On our upper patio, the one with the gorgeous water view that you’ve seen in previous posts, we get quite a breeze that makes it the coolest place on our lot. We’re spending more and more time there. However, we have to be careful because we get these windy gusts that have twice now upset a drink and sent it all over Larry! LOL. C’mon, you gotta laugh about it right??

One cool thing about this time of year in the desert is that the cactus start blooming. There’s a lot of cactus throughout the Ranch. Here’s the first one we’ve seen blooming. I’m not a big fan of cactus but I sure love the flowers!

Until recently we weren’t playing golf or being out in the sun much but, if you read my last post, you saw the cool hat and sleeves I got. Well, I got more sleeves and I’m having fun wearing them. 

Many people think I have “tattoo sleeves” until they get close enough to see what they are. So now I am certainly known as the lady with the white hat AND the wild sleeves! And, don’t forget my funky robot shoes that are oh so comfy!

Larry says he’s not embarrassed to be seen with me but I’m not so sure.
