Rex here. I don’t know what to think about this whole trip. Sometimes we stay in a place for one night and then pack up again and leave the next day. The next thing I know we’re staying put for a long time. There’s just no consistency. Hmmpf! I’m glad we stayed for a while in the place by that lake. I liked it there. There were a lot of places to sniff and explore and there were lots of squirrels to chase! They were everywhere. I didn’t like that they taunted us but it was fun scaring them hehehe. I heard Mom and Dad talking about needing a bit of R & R. I don’t know what that is but I think they got it at that place. Mom had trouble walking for a long time after that crazy scary accident we had in the car but it seemed to get better while we were by the lake. You know, my foot was hurting for a couple of days after that accident too but they took good care of me and wouldn’t let me walk much for a few days. Mom and Dad are pretty cool.

Max here. Well, this has been the craziest trip. I’m still not used to this “house” and I just can’t get used to those walls that go in and out. I’m sooo confused! We had a really scary car crash. Mom and Rex got hurt. I’m sure Rex was faking it for sympathy but he seemed to be ok in a couple of days.  Mom’s legs were hurt pretty bad. Dad had to take us for walks by himself for a while until she could get around better. Mom didn’t like missing out on our walks but she really didn’t have much choice. I’m glad she’s doing better. We stayed at a nice place by a lake for a while. I think that did Mom and Dad a lot of good, something about R & R. It was pretty neat there. Lots of bushes and places to sniff and pee and poke around. Then there were the squirrels!! Holy rodent Batman! They were all over the place and would tease us and then run up a tree or into a hole . . . the cowards! We could never catch one. Not sure what I’d do with it if I did catch one hehehe.
